Introduction to Bulk Registration

beginning of content:

What Is Bulk Registration?

States and districts participating in bulk registration submit student information online and get printed labels for test answer sheets. This saves time because students have fewer bubbles to fill in.

Bulk registration is only available to districts and states with contracts for SAT School Day, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9.

Bulk registration does not replace test ordering. SAT School Day and PSAT-related assessments must be ordered on the test ordering site.

Important:

Admission tickets will no longer be sent to SAT School Day students or their schools. Labels will be sent to schools instead. Tracking information for shipments of pre-ID labels can be seen on the test ordering site.

Benefits of Bulk Registration

  • Improves data accuracy: Data submitted by schools, districts, and states are often more accurate, making them more useful.
  • Reduces billing discrepancies: Contract billing is based on grade level. Using district-submitted data eliminates the issues caused by students bubbling in the wrong grade or not bubbling in any grade.
  • Saves time on test day: Bulk registration reduces the time students spend filling out registration information on test day, allowing them to focus on the test.
