SAT Test Center Closings

beginning of content:

Our top priority is your health and safety. Please note that as the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic continues to evolve, we'll continue to monitor the situation and let you know if circumstances change closer to the test dates.

Get more information.

Test center closings for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests will be listed on this page in the weeks before each test date. You may receive a cancellation notification by email before the list of test center closings is updated on this page. Some test centers may remain open but with reduced capacity. You may receive a cancellation notification even if your test center is not listed on this page.

Check your status in the days leading up to your test.

Individual test centers decide whether or not they can administer the SAT. Test centers may decide to close, or reduce available capacity, on short notice, including on test day.

We're asking test centers to confirm if they'll be open and to report closures or reduced capacity to the College Board as soon as possible to ensure students are informed ahead of test day. The College Board will directly notify students by email when test center closings are reported to us. We also recommend students check the test center's website the morning of the test.

If your test center is closed, you can register for a future test date. If you can't find a seat at a nearby test center for your preferred date, be sure to check out other test dates. Thank you for your understanding during this unique time.
