SAT Test Day Problems

If you encounter problems on test day, you generally need to communicate them to the SAT Program by the Wednesday after the test administration. If you want to cancel scores, you must do so by the Thursday after the test administration. This is necessary in order to ensure that your concern is investigated before your scores are released. Use the chart below to identify the best way of contacting us.

Cancellation includes scores on all tests you take on one day, unless your equipment malfunctions. Once we receive your request, your scores cannot be reinstated. You may cancel your score up until 11:59 p.m. ET on the Thursday after you took the exam.

This cannot be done online or by email.
