2019-20 SAT and SAT Subject Tests

If your students took the SAT with Essay:

  • September 6: Multiple-choice scores will be available to students.
  • September 9–11: Most SAT Essay scores will be available to students.
  • Within the following week: Educators begin to download data files and run reports in the score reporting portal.

If your students took the SAT:

  • September 6: Score reports will be available to students.
  • Within the following week: Educators begin to download data files and run reports in the score reporting portal.
  • Note: Subject Test scores follow the same release schedule as SAT scores.

If your students took the SAT with Essay:

  • October 18: Multiple-choice scores will be available to students.
  • October 21–23: Most SAT Essay scores will be available to students.
  • Within the following week: Educators begin to download data files and run reports in the score reporting portal.

2019-20 PSAT-Related Assessments

  • December 2: Scores available to educators online.
  • December 9–11: Student scores are released online. Score availability depends on the state from which students are accessing scores. View the schedule.

For schools testing in February and March 2020:

  • Schools returning materials postmarked by March 28 should expect scores online for educators by April 6.
  • Students should get scores online by or after April 13.

For schools testing in April 2020:

  • Schools returning materials postmarked by April 27 should expect scores online for educators by May 18.
  • Schools returning materials postmarked on or after April 28 should expect scores online for educators by June 12.
  • Students should get scores online the week after educator scores are released.

For schools testing September 2019 through January 2020:

  • Schools returning materials postmarked by November 1 should expect scores online for educators on December 2 and for students December 9–11.
  • Schools returning materials postmarked on or after November 2 should expect scores online on a weekly basis after the initial release in December.
  • Students should get scores online the week after educator scores are released.

For schools testing February through April 2020:

  • Schools returning materials postmarked by April 27, 2020, should expect scores online by May 18.
  • Schools returning materials postmarked on or after April 28 should expect scores online for educators by June 12.
  • Students should get scores online the week after educator scores are released.
